The Last Frontier

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. ~ Edward Abbey

Hi Everyone!

Sorry to have been silent for some time, I was vacationing in Alaska and didn’t have much access to the internet. I was also pretty distracted by just how gorgeous Alaska is! I spent 10 days traveling between Anchorage, Seward, Kenai, Portage, and Girdwood. I think I hiked about 1000 miles, biked another 1000, went climbing and paragliding in locations with the most incredible views, learned how to fly fish, gathered wild berries, locked eyes with a grizzly bear, and despite a valiant effort, never could find the illusive moose!

I’ve posted a few of my favorite pictures from the trip below! Feel free to click through those and let me know if you have any questions about visiting Alaska!

The only moose I could find! Touchy little fellow!
Goodbye note my friend and I left at our hostel in Anchorage. 🙂
