In July, 2018, I was contacted by influencer marketing agency, The Shelf, about participating in a small social campaign for outdoor retailer, Moosejaw. Myself and a handful of others were tasked with choosing three products that would help us tell an authentic story about out lives, while incorporating the campaign theme of #mymadness.
Already stocked up on technical gear, I chose products that I felt best showcased the Moosejaw brand, while still remaining relevant to my lifestyle and all the time I spend at cooler, high elevations. Products included a beanie, sweatshirt, and camp blanket, all featuring a visible Moosejaw logo or distinctive color scheme. Just returned from my European trip, I chose to base my part of the campaign around a reunion weekend I had planned with friends. Climbing, hiking, alpine swimming, and camping provided the perfect setting to utilize the products in a way that was completely authentic to both my lifestyle, and the Moosejaw brand. Madness ensued with crag jumping and cold dips in Alpine lakes.
Deliverables for this project included a series of branded IG stories, IG posts with captions describing our unique forms of madness, and a blog post describing the products and how we incorporated them into our lives.
